Slingshot

Slingshot is a non-profit accelerator program supporting the scale-up of ambitious companies from Norway’s West Coast. Since its launch in September 2020, Slingshot has helped over 22 companies create more than 480 new jobs and raise over 600 million NOK in capital.

In partnership with Smart Dubai, we designed and delivered a fully immersive, five-day executive program in Copenhagen for 30 senior government officials, as part of Dubai’s Happiness Agenda.

I was invited to join Slingshot during its early development phase, with a focus on integrating culture — both within the accelerator team and across the participating companies.

I’ve been part of the journey from the very beginning, contributing through companies I was involved in at the time, including GaidMe and Mindshifter. My role centered on building strong cultural foundations to support growth.


Together with the Slingshot team,  then including PwC and GaidMe, we worked hands-on with each cohort and delivered support through a range of tailored formats, such as:

  • Custom workshops
  • Team training and leadership development
  • One-to-one coaching and sparring
  • Keynotes and facilitated sessions
  • Disruption boards to challenge direction and strategy

By adapting to each company's specific context, we helped strengthen internal capacity and create the conditions for sustainable, people-driven growth. Today, this work continues through a strategic partnership between Slingshot, Capgemini, and Stensø — supporting growth-oriented companies in unlocking their next stage. - and the we can link to the movie of slinsghot that i have on youtube. Two years ago, four of us  came together with one clear intention: create a space that does away with SWOT mindsets — and puts opportunity first.

In partnership with Smart Dubai, we designed and delivered a fully immersive, five-day executive program in Copenhagen for 30 senior government officials, as part of Dubai’s Happiness Agenda.

From the outset, XXOX was designed to challenge perspectives, inviting entrepreneurs, investors, corporates, and visionaries into a festival where business opportunity—not problems—is the focus!

Our mission?

Build a vibrant playground for Opportunity Spotters—a community that sees the world as full of possibilities, and is eager to act on them.

As one of the four founding initiators, I helped launch and shape the first edition—led by the belief that asking different questions opens new horizons. The festival sold out immediately, confirming the hunger for spaces centered on future-forward thinking and collaboration. Watch the highlights here.

Keynote

At ONS (Offshore Northern Seas) — one of the world’s leading energy conferences held in Stavanger — I was invited to deliver the keynote “Connecting the Dots” for a room full of young professionals.

In partnership with Smart Dubai, we designed and delivered a fully immersive, five-day executive program in Copenhagen for 30 senior government officials, as part of Dubai’s Happiness Agenda.

The session was built on a core belief: that in a time of rapid change, it’s not about following a straight career path — but about recognising the value of your unique journey. Using storytelling as a tool, we explored how every experience, from the expected to the unconventional, can become part of a powerful, authentic personal narrative.



With humour, honesty and real-life examples — from air stewardess to founder — I encouraged young professionals to rethink how they present themselves, and to see the synergies between life choices, skills, and future opportunities.
